Sinds de opening brachten 450.000 gasten een bezoek aan STAR WARS miniland.

Billund (Denemarken) - In de lucht boven LEGOLAND Duitsland zweeft Darth Vader aan de avond hemel. In juni opende het STAR WARS  MINILAND in LEGOLAND Duitsland. Speciaal hiervoor werd er een luchtballon van het hoofd van Darth Vader ingevlogen om zijn LEGO collega met een bezoek te vereren.  Met een hoogte van 26 meter is de ballonkop 185 keer zo groot als zijn LEGO collega in het park. Dit model werd gebouwd van 180 LEGO stenen en is 14 centimeter groot. De ballon komt uit België, en is over de hele wereld zeer gewild, hij kwam uit Maleisië naar Duitsland en is nu op weg naar Amerika.
